2025 GO Tour

If you play Pokemon Go then you have probably been busy these last couple of days because of Go Tour. This is a great and fun event in Pokemon Go. Over 250,000 played in Los Angles alone. This years event was based on the Unova region so lets dig in into some of the best things from this years Go Tour.

Wild Spawns

Lets start with the wild spawns. most of the wild spawns will be from the Unova region. The most common being the Unova starters: Snivy, Tepig, and Oshawatt. During the event there are different types of Pokemon appearing at different hours. Here was what you could catch:

Winter Caverns Habitat (10:00–11:00 a.m. and 2:00–3:00 p.m. local time):

All of these cool Wild spawns means more cool Pokemon for everyone. Also If you want to complete the Unova region this is a great time too because of all the pokemon that are spawning in the wild. I'm at something like 120/155 now. Any way that is not the only thing. Incenses will attract Unknown, and at the end of every hour there will be loads of Zorua spawns.

Research

This years research has been great. I got the deluxe pass and I think the new setup is great (though it is hard). The new way you get points instead of actually having to do something specific is great. I am at 30 so the deluxe has got me lots of bonuses. All the extra candy you get is just crazy. Also I have to tell you about this free legendaries thing. Every year during Go Fest or Go Tour there are free raids research. In this research every raid you win 1-star to 5-star you get a mystery encounter. Every year there are either legendary, Mythical, or Ultra beast Pokemon. This year I won 6 raids before the research expired on March 1st, so I got 6 legendaries: a Terrakion, a Cobalion, a Virizion, a Tornadous (therian form), A Landours (therian forn) and a shiny Thundours (therian form). For the special research I got confused and chose the path I didn't want and I am only 220 energy away from getting a white Kyrum. That might cost me.

Raids

This might have been my best raid event ever. I won 12 raids. The two Pokemon everybody is going after are Black and White Kyrum. I am going for a shiny white Kyrum. You need to win about 11 raids to get it. Sadly I won 8 White Kyrum raids and 1 Reshiram, So that puts me about 2 raids short. I did get a shiny Kyrum so if I get more energy I could get my goal. I also got a special background Reshiram, and I love the backround. Hopefully I can get a special background shiny white kyrum.

Next Go Tour

I think next Go Tour will be based on the Kalos region, probably having something big to do with Zygarde. Maybe it will be in raids or maybe there will be other ways of getting cells. There is also Xerneas and Yveltal, which will probably be in raids and research. There might even be new megas like mega Greninja. Thats it for this post see you next time.
