Fishing

Recently I went fishing while visiting Hood Canal. I caught a big rainbow trout.

I've been fishing since I was 5 years old. I've fished in lakes, oceans and rivers. Here are all the types of fish I have caught:

• Lake: Rainbow Trout, Yellow Perch, Bluegill
• River: Rainbow Trout
• Ocean: Sculpin

In my life I would say I've caught about 25 fish in total. My best day of fishing was in Whidbey Island when I caught 8 sculpin in under 20 minutes.

We have used many types of bait including worms, small fish, and power bait. We learned that fake bait does not work that well. We also learned that in some places the fish like the shallow areas but in others they like the deep areas.
