My Trip to Cabo, Disneyland, and the ER

On our trip, we went to two places: Cabo and Disneyland. Since we went to Cabo first I will start with that.

We went to Hyatt Ziva on our trip to Cabo San Jose. It was a 3.5-star hotel according to me. First of all, they had major renovations and they didn't tell us or anyone else, so it ended up being very loud. Also, half of the hotel is closed including the kid's pool which is supposed to be awesome. Another bad thing is the hot tubs they have. One is like 85 degrees Fahrenheit which is cold for a hot tub, and the other one is 100 degrees, but they don't let kids go in that one, so you can say it's good for adults. Also at some restaurants at the hotel, the service is bad. At one of the Mexican places my mom's brother's family had to wait 1 hour until their very grumpy server came, but at all of the restaurants, the food was great. The pool was giant too and had fun things to do like dancing and Hula-Hoop contests.

Disneyland was awesome but before you hear about that you have to hear about the day before it. The day before Disneyland was very not fun for me. First we went to a petting zoo which was ok. Then we went to this BBQ place that was gonna be awesome. It was so hot though that I passed out and hit my head on the pavement. For about 30 seconds my eyes were rolled back and people were calling 911. Then I regained consciousness but I don't remember anything about the part above. My dad told me because I do not remember what happened when I woke up. I was in an ambulance heading to the hospital. What I thought was that I was in Cabo and I was meeting Paul Skenes. I also asked the same question five times. It was "Mom I keep forgetting something, are we in Cabo?" I could only remember 3 things: my name was Dilan, my favorite color was green, and my best friend was named Charlie. Then we got to the hospital. They tested all sorts of things and gave me an IV shot. They came back and said I had good stats. I wasn't overheating or dehydration that caused me to faint. What we think is that maybe the motorcycle that I was looking at blinded me and that is why I fainted. We also think I got a concussion. They said that if I was cool and hydrated then I could go to Disneyland.

Day 1. The first day was cool We went on all of the cool rides, like the Star Wars rides. We went on one roller coaster called Thunder Mountain which was cool but my favorite ride had to be Star Wars Rise. On Star Wars Rise you take a ship to Kylo Ren's base. You start by going into a ship outside then you magically appear in a base with like 100 stormtroopers.

Then you ride on a ship through the base and try to escape with stormtroopers shooting at you and Kylo Ren attacking.

It was cool. We also had an infant with us, my 9 month cousin and she went on 2 rides. She went on Small World which isn't scary at all and Pirates of the Caribbean which had small drops I think the baby didn't like, but she loved Small World.

Day 2. On day two we went to California Adventure Park which was fun too. We started with going on Soarin' which is where you fly on top of the world. Then we went to one of my favorites, Radiator Springs, which is where you race other cars. After that, we went on some small rides. Then I got a caricature. I waited for like 15 minutes before she finished. I can't show you what it looks like though because it is a document. Just kidding.

Me

My favorite ride at California Adventure Park had to be Grizzly River Run where you get in a tube and go down a river. On this ride, you do get wet, and that's what happened to us. You float on a calm river until you hit some river rapids then comes the part where you get really wet. You fall down a small waterfall which I thought was the end, but then we slid down a giant waterfall and got soaked. Everything and everyone got wet.

the final drop

Overall my trip to Disneyland and Cabo was awesome. My favorite ride overall was Star Wars Rise, and my least favorite was Star Tours.
