The Seattle Kraken

2023 Playoff Run

The Seattle Kraken, in their 2nd year as a franchise made the playoffs, got 100 points and beat the Colorado Avalanche in game 7. Nobody thought they would win a game but they made it to round 2 and lost to the Stars in game 7, 2 to 1.

Matty Beniers

They had the best rookie in the league, Matty Beniers. Clearly they were a good team and they also set some records. In their first year they were one of the worst teams, but then during the draft they picked up Matty Beniers and they got good.

Other Kraken Players

They also had some older players that were good like Jared McCan and Jordan Eberle. So they could teach their younger players. They also had good goalies like Philipp Grubauer and Mac Jones.

One of their craziest games

One of the Kraken craziest games was against the LA Kings it was 8 to 8 in OT when Andre Burakovsky scored. They won 9 to 8 it was their highest number of goals scored ever in a game and a big party at Climate Pledge.

Kraken Rivals

Even though the Kraken are new they still have rivals like the Golden Knights, Stars, and Avalanche. The Kraken have been rivals with the Golden Knights ever since their first game of all time. Their first game was against the Golden Knights. Next, the Avalanche player Cale Makar hurt McCan and Cale was suspended. That's how the Kraken won the series.
