Step 1:

The first thing you need to do when you make a blog post is to have a blogging platform. For example, I use Ghost to make blog posts. If you don't have Ghost, you can use Google Docs.

Step 2:

After you have your blogging platform, you need an idea. One good way to think of an idea is to think of a video game. After you have done that you can make a title. For example, think of the How to Play Pokemon Go post. That is the way I made that post: I thought of Pokemon Go and turned it into that post. You might realize that I changed what my idea was a little. Well, that is what you can do to make your post a little more interesting.

Step:3

Now that you have the idea, it's time to start writing. You can start with an intro. An intro should be used to tell what you will be writing about. For a story, it's used to set the scene, which is basically introducing the setting and characters. For something informational, you can use it to get the reader to want to read more. I do know some people who don't start at the intro, and you can do that too.

Step:4

Step:4 is the most important part. You have to fill in everything. For example, if I am writing a post about the Mario movie I would say why it is good. I could break it down into 3 reasons like it is funny, it is based off a video game, and it is the best movie I have ever seen. Then I would take one of those 3 reasons and make it a whole paragraph. For me, I like to do 3-5 paragraphs, but you can do a lot or a little. Each paragraph should be from 3-10 sentences. For an example paragraph here is one on why the Mario movie is funny:

The Mario movie is a very funny movie. For example, at the start of the movie Mario fails so much on his test. At the very start, Luigi is so scared. At the end, Bowser turns into a tiny turtle, and his voice is super high pitched.

Do you see how that works?

Step:5

Next, you will need a conclusion. For me, it is the easiest. One way to do it is to restate everything you say in your post. For example, you can say this:

Now that you know that the Mario movie is funny, based off a video game, and is the best movie in the world, you should watch it. You will probably like it just like me.

See, that doesn't sound that hard. Right? The conclusion for a story should be when the problem gets solved. You could say that Bunny Man finds his food in the woods. Then he goes home very happy. The end. That could be a basic story end, but there are some longer ones like in Harry Potter. Those conclusions can be chapters; they can be way longer that this post!

Now that you know how to write a blog post, you can make one if you want. Then send it to me, and if you want, I will post it on Dilan.co. Then some people will read what you wrote, but remember you don't have to.
