Recently I went to Victoria with my family during Memorial Day weekend. It was awesome. Here are some of the things I did there.

Riding the Clipper

To get there we took a ferry called the Clipper. It was a 3 hour ride from downtown Seattle to get there. I got a bunch of food on the boat. Once we arrived in Victoria we were able to walk to our hotel.

The Fairmont Empress

The hotel we went to was the Fairmont Empress. When we got there they said our room would not be ready until 4 o'clock. It was only 12pm. So they took us to the lounge where we got snacks and drinks. After that we walked through the downtown shopping area. We ate lunch at an Indian seafood restaurant called Fishhook. For dessert we went to a cool ice cream shop called Chocolats Favoris and got chocolate dipped ice cream. Then we went back to the hotel and they said are room was still not ready so we went to Miniature World.

Miniature World - Museum

In the museum there were so many cool things and buttons to press to make things move. There was stuff about space, wars and movies. My favorite one was the circus

My dinner on the first night

My Steak off the Kid's Menu

After the museum we went to dinner and I got a 4 oz steak with potatoes and veggies on the kid's menu. I also ordered a Shirley Temple and it had orange juice instead of Sprite. Maybe they just do it differently in Canada.

Butchart Garden

We went to this famous garden called the Butchart gardens. It had tons of different gardens like a rose garden, Italian garden, sunken garden and my favorite the Japanese garden. I also bought some seeds and I am planting them now.

Riding around in a Tesla

On the 2nd day we rented a Tesla model 3. We drove to the gardens in it. The Tesla had fun stuff in it. For example, on a screen you could change your car to a sled while playing Christmas music. There was this thing were the Tesla made a farting sound when you pressed a button and it made the sound at the persons seat.

Overall we had a great time in Victoria I cannot wait for the next time we go there.
